Every player in our league has lost their injury status, every player. Now I have to go back in and manually add them back off of the NFL report from Friday. You say that the only time you mess with the injury status is when the report is released, so why did you reset them all? As far as I can tell the NFL hasn't released a new report yet.

This isn't the first time this has happened this season and to be frank I have had enough. I could care less if you fix this p.o.s. "service" that we pay for. Its worked like crap all year and we expect something to not work per usual. I (and many others based on the complaints flooding the forums) have learned my lesson and will not be back even if you were to offer your "service" for free next year.

Truly disappointing to see another business fail.

And now the Commissioner can't set the status either, I adjust it and it times out.

Your lucky I am able to bite my tongue on what I would really like to say right now.

*** I just was able to update the players manually that were on teams IR.***
The system is messed up though because teams were getting the illegal roster message. When I went into commissioner the players that were not on teams IR were still showing their status (but not on the team page) but the players on the owners IR had to be manually reentered. When I entered them all, then the other players injury status magically appeared on the team pages as well. dry.gif

We are looking into why some players have lost their injury status. We would recommend not making manual changes as we should be able to resolve this quickly. We apologize for the error. Thank you.

While most players were taken care of, players that had an injury status for week 7 and were on the bye in week 8 where no NFL report was made for the team are still broken. One player is Clinton Portis who was questionable in week 7, and on the bye in week 8 so his status from week 7 should have carried over is still showing no status.

Fred Taylor is no longer showing as out anymore. Now I can't pick up my Def for the week w/o having to drop an extra player off my roster to make a move.

No problem though, I will sit on my hands and watch as other owners add the Def I am looking to grab just to block me from making my move.

Thanks again Fanball on putting me in a huge disadvantage yet again.

Your injury reporting practice is the worst of any fantasy site I have ever used. Someone gets hurt on Sunday is going to be out for a while and you wait until Friday (at best) or Saturday to ajust the players status. Are you serious with this! C Cooley goes down and because his team is on bye you sit and watch as owners who have him can't do a thing for 2 WEEKS.

Your service is garbage!

Given that you know this, can't you post something in your league messages stating what you want to do and have the commissioner change whatever settings are needed to make it happen? My league has a standing policy that if you want to do something but can't, post the specific info. Commish will then do what is necessary, and it puts everyone else on notice of the change. Nobody can bitch if they then go in a pick up someone already called for.

Obviously it's not the ideal situation, but it's a workable solution in a league with reasonable people.

This is a problem that was brought up much earlier in the year. Fanball's policies won't change. All of their information is based on official NFL releases. However, due to the large number of people that were concerned about this, Fanball implemented a tool to allow commissioners to change the injury status of players. This has been posted by Fanball a couple of times in the yellow box that everyone despises as well as on the boards and has been referred to by other commissioners numerous times.

Just tell your commissioner about the problem and maybe he'll go in and change the status of your player for you.

Actually this is a fanball issue, they lost the status of many players this week (they fixed some, but not all players). This is not something a commissioner should have to do since it was Fanball's screw up.

Yeah Fanball is creating a lot of problems and they keep having numerous issues, the most recent seem to be with injury status. But they have implemented tools that commissioners can use in a lot of situations. This is one of them. While it's BS that all of the injury statuses have disappeared, there is something that commissioners can do about it instead of getting on here and whining about players no longer being on IR. Should it be reported to Fanball? Yes. Do they have a right to be pissed? Yes.

But rather than get on the forums and make posts like:

"No problem though, I will sit on my hands and watch as other owners add the Def I am looking to grab just to block me from making my move."

His commissioner can do something about it so the Def he is trying to pick up won't be stolen by another team.

That's the point I was trying to make.
